Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Our friend actually recommended Don to us. So we spoke to him, took a look at the company’s portfolio and saw what they had done previously. We told them that we wanted something modern minimalist, and we felt he could portray that. The ‘modern minimalist’ concept we had in mind had some curves around the TV console area. As Don was the expert he told us, okay, this could be done in this manner, and we were convinced. Eventually he delivered the whole curve perfectly, and we love it. The renovation process was pretty smooth. We gave Don a timeline of about two months. We weren’t in a hurry. So within the two months he managed to get things done up, and he updated us properly. And when we had questions, always answered us accordingly. The WhatsApp is a great communications tool for us to update each other. Overall, we are very happy with the renovation works done up. We would greatly recommend Don and 1 Works to new homeowners.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

When it comes to buying fittings and furnishings, take your time to choose what you really want. Your designer should not be pressuring you to get from just 1 or 2 of his recommended vendors if they do not suit your preferences. It's your home after all.

Yes, very detailed and precise. Understand very well on what we want and need. The impression was very professional and experienced, suggestions and advices were accurate and practical. Overall the pass few months was smooth and designer always willingly to travel down to assist us even with at times, receiving delivery when we are not home.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Flooring is one of the most important part, be sure to plan your timeline well and always discuss (with spouse) important decisions before hand, so that there won't be double standards when it comes to pass wants and needs to designer.
