After a detailed 2 year search for an interior designer, we almost gave up until we stumbled across DC Vision. After an quick and detailed discussion with Aaron, our interior designer, we decided to go for him due to his frank and experienced approach in all of our requirements. Aaron and Vincent's approach during the actual renovation was impressive to say the least. The execution was quick and efficient, with the renovation smoothly being done even though we were staying in the same apartment. Thank you for ensuring that our renovation was to our standards and greater. Well recommended!

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes will recommend this interior designer because of their good workmanship and professionalism. Can also say they are experts so if you're new to this whole process, you don't have to worry because they're always with you through the process and you can trust them completely and let them take care of everything.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Always remember to check around a few places before you finalise an ID. Pick someone you're comfortable with and someone you can communicate easily with. Good workmanship always comes with high price so do not worry about investing in something that goes a long way.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Advised to homeowners.allocation of Electrical point is the most basic and important things that most homeowners forget. Best to allocate more than less.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Our ID was Dennis Tan. Definitely would give him 5 out if 5 stars. His work has been absolutely remarkable and commendable! We have engaged dennis in April 2019, and at that moment, the collection of keys to my parents' bto was not confirmed. Dennis offered us a great package, which includes free gifts. Mind you, these gifts are literally thousands in total! Gifts were our daily use electronics with 4 ticks, energy saving, save the earth When we finally collected the keys, Dennis immediately jumped into action the next day, drove all the way from Tampines to Canberra just to take a look at the house. During the same period, Dennis was ill but went beyond his bondaries, carefully arranged jobs and updating us daily on the job that was going to be done and has been done with picture proof. Estimation date of completion was supposedly to be end of July. However, Dennis was exemplary in his work with handover done on the 3rd week of the month with minimal hiccups.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

If you're looking forward to achieving the dream home you have always wanted, DC Vision will make it come true for you. With affordable packages, and not to mention free gifts worth thousands, DC Vision provides you the best that they can offer. The IDs are very experienced, friendly and approachable. They will treat you like family and will take care of your home with love and passion. Here's a tip to homeowners: Do your surveys but trust me, awesome offers from DC Vision will catch your breath and attention. We are very proud of our decision to sign up with DC Vision and very happy with our new home.

The renovations and timeline was well arranged. Don knows and undestood our requirements. We are satisfied and happy with the results. Minimal concept.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Let the designer knows what you need and get his advice with the Colour, themes, materials, final works. Work timeline and delivery to suit your date.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

This designer was very responsive and did not delay uneccesarrily with regards to the job. He responded the day I asked and provided a reasonable quotation on the spot.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It is important to have a good designer who will tell you what is feasible, where to save costs as you will be relying know them quite heavily throughout the process

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes. Don always keeps us updated on the progress and is open to feedback and changes. After completing the renovation, he sees through any other minor changes to be made and rectifies anything that I am not happy with.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

If you really want a beautifully renovated home to live in satisfaction for the rest of your life then don't be hesitant to spend on quality design and renovation.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We would recommend Don to friends and family because Don settles everything to our satisfaction ultimately. (1) Well organised: Don provides a schedule of well worked-out dates so we know what renovation works to expect on which day. (2) Excellent service: Don replies fast to queries. Any issues raised will be attended to quickly (even after bulk of payment has been made) and promptly rectified by workers. (3) Accommodative: Don is helpful and willing to accommodate to meet our demands and match our difficult schedule.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

(1) Do not rush; Allow sufficient time to plan, design and draft changes before start of renovation works. (2) Be realistic; make sure carpentry works such as wardrobes, bookshelf, cabinets and drawers are practical for use instead of just looking nice on the exterior. (3) Perform frequent inspection, daily if possible, once renovation has started, so that any mistakes or failure to meet expectations can be raised promptly and dealt with. (4) When in doubt, ask. Do not be afraid to ask questions even if it makes you feel silly.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We had used Don Loo when we first renovated our home and had been very happy with his service. So we followed him to his current company, DC Vision. Our main objective is to increase our storage space without affecting the floor space too much. We also wanted to upgrade and update the smart automation already in place. Of course, everything had to blend in with our ‘modern Victorian’ theme. Basically the market is gradually moving towards smart homes – automated homes that allow you to control them both centrally and remotely, from IOS or Android devices. I wanted a home that we could ‘voice-control’ as well. “Alexa, turn on Apple TV!” (Alexa, the invisible concierge cum butler who ‘lives’ insides a small, discreet device in the living area, switched on Hazriq’s TV before our very eyes! – HomeReno Guru)See, Alexa switched on my Apple TV. Our home basically talks to us. Throughout the entire process, Don is actually a very resourceful person. He knows all the connections, and who to look for, and he’s able to collaborate with them nicely. He was the single point of contact for everything. So I never had to look for the person who’s dealing with the home automation, or the person who’s dealing with the masonry works or the carpentry works. Basically, it’s just Don, and it’s that simple. I would recommend Don and DC Vision to all my friends and family out there.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would say – plan for the future. If you are considering home automation, it’s much simpler to make provision for the cabling and wiring at renovation stage. So think ahead. Look at your needs in the future. If you have children, it gives you peace of mind to be able to ‘look in’ on them when you’re not at home.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I will recommend DC Vision to friends. They are very reliable and have good workmanship. They also responded very fast to our many request. Don kept constantly communicating to us the renovation progress. And all the post Reno defects were fixed within days.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

For future homeowners my advice, do look for a reliable contractor that has good workmanship. Communications is also very important between you and your designer. Make sure you got a 3d draft of the final design before commencement of reno work to avoid any dispute later.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I will definitely recommend my friends. The design though simple is unique and catch the eyes of people. It gives you a cosy feeling. The colour matches well to the overall design and the furnitures. The ID also advises on the size and colour of furniture to buy as well as the colour of curtain.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

For me, my advice to the future homeowners, I will utilise the expertise of ID and seek their advice, for e.g. colour theme, type of furniture, etc that best fit into the design of my house. Also, remember to set a realistic budget and sticky to the budget .

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes I will recommend DC to others. Mr Don knows how to values his customers. He took a lot of initiative in our reno and he did regular house visit to check on the progress. Some of the problems and faults occurred during the reno, Mr Don rectified before even we bring it up to him. After he hand over the house, along the way we found some minor faults and inform Mr Don by the following day he wound send his workers to fix it. It happened few times and we are very pleased with his service.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Its important do a back ground check on the company and read through its review. Always use cheque and all ways bank it to company name. Do not make any deals with the designer and it will result in breach of contract. Also remember to set a realistic budget and try to stay with it.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, I am very satisfied with the service rendered by Mr Don Loo from DC Vision. What I like about them is that they would give me ideas and they will tell me whether the material is durable or not, and if it is not, they will try to suggest other things to me that would best fit my needs and they are very open and ready to give good advice. They also do their best to cater to my concept and to my expectations. Overall I am very satisfied with my renovated home.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Have a rough idea of how you want your renovated home to be like, so that you can communicate with your designers more effectively as sometimes both sides have different expectation so you need to let them have a clear picture of what you want. Communication is key and if you have any new ideas, we have to let the designers know in advance. DC vision was very communicative and responsive and they would give me suggestions based on their professional experiences. They also kept to the timeline and delivered my renovated home on time.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I like the feature wall in my living room and also the facade wall done to conceal the lift in the living room. Usually, the lift shaft is exposed but Don of DC Vision suggested a facade for storage and to complement the lift in the living room.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I must say that the renovation cost is quite high but the service was excellent and the works were completed within 2 months. I brought back alot of furniture from China and DC Vision incorporated this constraint as best as they could.
