We worked with Wan Xin to renovate our kitchen and storage area. Wan Xin is creative, understanding what we would like to do and able to come up with the workable plan for a great outcome, right project duration and reasonable price. Before the project started she outlined very clearly when each activity should happen so that we knew and agreed together what we could expect. During the project, she regularly updated us and promptly responded to our questions/concerns. After the delivery of project, when we had some hiccups (as they usually would happen when we moved back in), her team and her rectified issue promptly and to satisfaction level. Me and my husband decided to engage Doubble Interior to renovate our dream house and Wan Xin is our designer. She is responsive even on weekends or late night. She advise us on what’s work and what doesn’t based on her experience. Throughout the whole renovation process, it was quite smooth and everything went according to the schedule she arrange with no delays. Her time management is good, she did not give extra promises to us as she will let us know the estimate time range needed for every part of renovation. Have been spoken to a few ID’s before deciding on Wan Xin, one thing that make us decide on her is that she not only ask for our design requirements and style, she also taking notes on our living and habits before proposing and giving us suggestions. We personally think this is some part that other ID’s might missed out or did not care about. After all discussion and confirms, we hand off and let her manage the whole renovation process. There may be some hiccups in between, but Wan Xin will rectify the issues very fast. Even though we are very busy with our schedule and not able to check on site, we won’t missed any updates from her side. She will update us every time she went up to site checking. She is also good in communicating with contractors. We loved working with her! We’re very satisfied with the workmanship and outcome! Highly recommend Wan Xin to our friends and family.

We first found out about Doubble randomly from the website Atap. They don't have a lot of portfolio on the site but one photo caught our eyes, what drawn our attention was their portfolio has quite a bit of closeup photos, and the quality of the carpentry and composition of these pictures shows their confidence and taste in their work that quite matches with what we're looking for. Our designers were William(one of the founders) and Ebah, they were both very friendly and professional. Below are some of our experiences working with them. -Communication- Throughout the design and renovation process, one thing that we really enjoyed was the communication. it's always very direct and honest on what they can do and can't do, whether or not it's realistic. William was experienced and able to adapt to our requests and provide solutions to meet our needs. We wanted to have a bigger walk-in wardrobe than what the developer provided and William came up with a solution to maximize the space by moving the door position without compromising on the overall impression of the room size. Whenever we have concerns or uncertainties he will give us assurance whether the idea works and not just blindly accommodate our needs, the communication feels more like a collaboration, like they really care about you and the satisfaction you get when you live in your new home. More importantly is that they treat their clients like friends (at least this is our experience), very genuine and sincere, they try their best to work within the budget we have and don't feel like they're constantly giving you a 'sales pitch' and trying to squeeze money out of you. Even when there was an issue with the renovation they were honest to let us know what happened and how they plan to rectify it. Once during renovation we found out that a window was left open during a heavy downpour and the wooden floorboards were soaking wet because of this. When we informed William and Ebah about this they immediately assured us that they will investigate and assess the damage, and if they really find the flooring damaged they will replace them for us, which they did eventually. -Helpfulness- Doubble has been very helpful and very generous with giving suggestions and advice. We can always ask them for their opinion even if it's not technically part of their scope. For example when we were shopping for sofas, William came with us to the shop to advise us on which sofa and seats and what color to get that works best with our ID, but we have very specific 'comfort' requirements and a lot of the designer sofas are not very comfortable to actually sit on, so he actually spent a few hours with us to find something that is the best of both worlds. Apart from that, we also asked them for advice on other stuff such as bar stool color/design, measurement on appliances, curtain color, carpet size, decor, and they even bought lights and bulbs for us at a discounted price! They even helped us install some big appliances such as a dishwasher, washing machine and TV/TV bracket etc. We had contracted some other vendors to work on air conditioning, curtains and (simple) landscaping, and William and Ebah asked us to pass him the contractors' numbers and he coordinated with them directly for us. They also helped receive parcels and bulky deliveries to the site and we didn't even need to be there personally! I can say it's really a hassle free experience. -Integrity- We engaged with them after MCO 1 but MCO 2 came and we weren't able to start our renovation. During which raw material price hiked up drastically, but William was honest and didn't take this opportunity to mark up our renovation price, he told us our price was locked before the price hike and his cost with the supplier was also locked, so they will charge us what was in our original quote. It was easy for him to exploit us and we couldn't have done anything but they didn't, which I really appreciate. There was an incident where our furniture was going to be delivered but the house was still very dusty, knowing the timeline Ebah had arranged for cleaners to come the day before the deliveries arrive, but unfortunately the cleaners didn't show up on that day. Strapped for time, William and Ebah and another one of his colleagues went to our house and personally cleaned it! and this happened during Puasa Month, we felt really bad for Ebah when we found out but really appreciated what they did for us in keeping their promise. -Workmanship- Doubble's is especially proud of their carpenters, before we engaged with them they invited us to their studio in Bukit Jalil to check out their carpentry work, which looked good but at the same time we did had doubts whether our house will be done by the same carpenters or will it have the same quality. Turns out the actual result is quite consistent with what they promised, the cabinet doors and drawers all line up perfectly and open smoothly, the laminated surfaces look neat, and the edges of the laminated panels are treated nicely. Our house has A LOT of fluted panels which were all laminated, and I saw their 'Sifu' carpenters patiently going through and touching up each and every edge of the fluted panel manually. They have also taken extra care on the work they do, our bed design is a customized raised platform, and they put in extra care and RnD in the factory to ensure that the bed's structure is strong enough to withstand people jumping on the platform. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality and value of their work, and even if there's any defect or feedback, they will go out of their way to rectify it for us. We have dealt with a few renovators and contractors over the years for our previous houses and offices and I must say dealing with Doubble has been the most smooth and enjoyable process of them all. As with any renovation, there are hiccups along the way, but how they dealt with the situation is what makes them different. Instead of playing the blame game, Doubble is there to solve problems and to make your dream home the best it could be. Overall the experience has been very positive and I highly recommend them if you're looking to renovate your place!

Today of last year , I met Andrew in my new house , I told him that “I'm a hard nut to crack, if you have no confidence to fulfill my requirement , please don’t take this job”. After one week he sent me the proposal and quotation, our journey begin. I can say that Doubble Interior construction work details below my expectation, but Andrew performance more than what I expect , He always listens to my complaints and solves them patiently, Even though I always make things difficult for him with sarcasm, but this 27-year-old boy always accepts it with a very humble attitude. Worked with William and his team earlier, in term of design, value over price and workmanship, they got it all covered definitely. A team of dedicated young men that provide services that you have never experienced before. They will run you through the details, provides interim updates on the progress, and deliver whatever discussed and promised. A little bit hiccups here and there but we were aware of that as there’s no renovation with 100% smoothness. Overall 5/5 satisfaction and good job Doubble, all the best in your business!
