Interior Artist gave us a well planned 3D version of our ideas during the planning stage for us to visualise and improvise the designs. Interiror Artist also helped us enhance and give realistic options to make our ideas work. Unlike other companies, we did not experience any form of 'Hard selling'. Infact Interior Artist was very helpful in ensuring that we stick to our planned budget with an outcome that looks more expensive with quality.

We shortlisted Interior Artist (Skyler/Jingwei/Alvin) after reaching out more than dozens of IDs, some of the IDs are quite experienced and famous. Reason we selected IA is because of their passion, it comes through in every discussion and meeting. And to be honest, we were also bit worried as well because they don’t have a lot of experience and young team. But in the end, now that everything is completed, I can say that we made the right decision by selecting Interior Artist for our renovation. Many things stood out, three things to highlight - firstly they are humble and motivated team who likes what they are doing. They are full of ideas and energy all the time. Secondly, their price is very competitive and timeline is aggressive. They calibrate all ideas and cost before approval and then executing. Lastly, Skyler, Jingwei and Alvin operate as one united team and brings different skill to the table. One is good in communication and planning, other is an expert designer and last one execute things silently in the background - three of them make prefect team. They finished within the budget and time I set for them. Quality of the work is superb and their after sale service is even more amazing. They are always reachable even months after receiving full payment and handover. Overall, it was a pleasant experience to engage Interior Artist and I would recommend them to anyone who is in need of renovation. Muthu

We had a good experience with the renovation of our house. From the use of a 2.5D graphic so that we can picture the end product better, to the timely updates, as well as a shared calendar to let us know what was scheduled. Even though there were minor setbacks with the approval, Skyler managed speed things up. He was good with updating us on issues and how it was being resolved. Even after the whole reno was over, we could still count on him if we need any touch ups. Love how our modern scandi home turned out. Especially love my kitchen! Would recommend Interior Artist any time.

Throughout the entire renovation process, he followed up closely with the contractors and ensured that everything ran smoothly. A huge thanks to Skyler and Jing Wei for their service in the renovation of our home. From the beginning, we had quite a strong idea of the concept that we wanted and we decided to choose Skyler because he was able to deliver the design that suited our needs. When we had certain changes to our ideas, Skyler was also willing to cooperate in the change, even recommending certain details to our ideas that help improve the design. His attitude throughout the renovation was very professional. He was very responsible, keeping us updated on the timeline and work that had been done, and making sure that we were able to move in on time. He was also always quick to respond and answer any queries that we have despite his busy schedule. When the materials for my daughter’s wardrobe were delayed, Skyler made sure to keep us updated on the status and catered to our schedule for the installation. Even after the renovation, whenever we encountered any issue, Skyler was able to resolve the matter promptly. Overall the journey was a very pleasant experience and we are glad to have our ideal home thanks to him.

In a heartbeat, I would recommend Skylar and Wayne for creating my dream home. They are experienced, work tirelessly, patiently and professionally. For a first time home owner like me, they were extremely helpful and always there to answer my questions and clear my doubts. They are realistic with managing my expectations and I had a peace of mind going through the entire process. They ensured to stick to my budget, informed me of every cost that I would anticipate, and I'm extremely grateful for their after sales service - ensuring that the works are up to standard and to redo the works to successful completion. Are you lost in choosing which ID? I was. Shall I go with my friend's Reno company? Go with the previous IDs whom done up my last home? What if the ID charges me very expensive? Will the ID understand my needs? These were on my mind. After asking a few friends, I decided to list down my requirements and shared with over 7 different IDs (I sort of lost count). Eventually, it voice down to Skyler and the other ID, the other ID was very experienced and was able to calibrate the needs efficiently. However, that other ID with a wealth of experience left me feeling there was little room for discussion. If you ever felt doubtful yet, was convinced into accepting a suggestion? That's what I felt it was like. Why Skyler? He was accommodative to my needs, he is innovative in ideas, we could discuss openly and comfortably. He allows strong participation from me and led me in the planning process. We had many meetings to calibrate the tiny space to maximise usage, functionality while accommodating both my needs and my growing 4 years old. He understands a house needs to transit into a home and comfort is up most important for the person living in. He is thoughtful in details to make sure minimal attention from me with maximum conveniences. His ideas are not the typical build up and layout compared to the ones I received from other IDs. His design is practical yet aesthetic. It was a fun experience working with Skyler, I felt bad taking so much of his time, and he is really patient and caring to work with. When it comes to budgeting, he make sure to work within my means, he also gave me very good advice on future possible enhancements that I need not do now due to my budget. He shared with me where to get my furniture and brought me around to buy other appliances. His recommendation is cheap and good! Super value for money. I wrote this review after living in for 2 months. Because I just want to be sure I felt comfortable with the house and it is functional. During my stay, Skyler had assist to make adjustments of the areas that was affected by gas pipe or a door was off alignment after sometime. They were quickly resolved. His support after hand over continues even after I moved in. Skyler’s after sales support is precious, worth mentioning and treasured because not every ID cares to return after handover. My ex ID did not return to touch up the wall when they accidently drill through a hole in it. They patch the hole and left a patch of white paint over a painted wall. A handle on the shelf dropped, they also never come back to fix it. Why choose Skyler? Because he remembers, he makes it happen. He himself is the reputation of professional with reliability. I will surely go back to him for my future enhancement and recommend all my friends to him. Many friends visited my home and gave great feedback on how brightly light the house is, airflow improved and it makes the tiny house look very spacious. . We decided to engage Skylar as our interior designer after he presented us with a rough concept of his designs which is very much what we were looking for. Skylar only took 6 weeks to complete the renovation of our unit. This includes painting, electrical works, plumbing works, carpentry, glassworks and general cleaning. He is highly responsive and is able to solve all the issues which we faced during the renovation period. Highly recommended to engage Skylar and his team for a fuss free renovation!

She would take time really understand our needs and explain about the works. We didn't really have a mood board and Shermain was able to pick up our likes and dislikes, earlier during one of our meet ups, and work from there. She helped us to do defect checks when we gotten our keys and able to point out alot of defects that we missed. She have an eye for detail and it shows during the final defect check of the house before handing over. Making sure the workmanship is up to her standard and not slipshod work. Also, aside from being friendly and easy going, she is generous with her advices on what colour our furnitures/decor that we should get to blend in with our home. And making sure they do not clash with our existing furnitures (that we already have) Overall, a good renovation experience with Shermain and Grace. Thank you! Great Value, Great Experience - Dream Home Realised ! Huge thanks to Interior Artist: Lead Designer Jing Wei and his team Skyler and Grace. Right from the start, they were a joy to work with on this renovation journey. I have had online meet ups with over 15 IDs during my search. Jing Wei left a deep first impression as he was the only ID that read and understood what we wanted for the house. Every session / meet up with him was productive and fruitful. The ‘vibes’ with him and his team were good. When explaining the design and quotes, he was extremely detailed. He was able to design upfront to incorporate both aesthetics and practical functionality. We could really feel the pride and effort the team poured into our home. They managed to incorporated the off-the-shelve items (such as fridge, microwave etc) into the design beautifully. All the costs involved were stated clearly and throughout the entire reno journey, no hidden costs came up! He was honest and if there were things that we could get it cheaper ourselves, he would simply tell it to us. The team’s management of the work progress was on point and on time. They would also give frequent site updates via WhatsApp with photos and videos (e.g. waterproofing done properly etc). There was a shared calendar with us to forecast to works ahead as well. This was extremely useful and gave us great confidence. They were also very responsive and accommodating to our queries and changes along the way. The quality and workmanship was impeccable. Kudos to the Carpentry and Electrical team for the outstanding work. In summary, they were honest, responsible, take pride in their work and we really bonded throughout this entire journey. Thank you so much Jing Wei and team! We were indeed fortunate to have them!

Blessed to have wayne being my ID in helping the renovations with my rooms. He gave us his professional recommendations assisting us when we layout our ideal designs and even put himself in our shoes to work things out within our budgets. With his recommendations on the design and colors combi for the platform beds and built-in cabinets, it make my rooms looks more cosy and spacious! He was also available and very responsive via telephone conversation or WhatsApp to help talk me through any confusion or challenges along the way. He took initiative and never failed to update me on the work progress from time to time until the whole renovation work was finally completed. Met up with at least 6 companies before deciding on them. Shermain and Grace were very sincere and prompt - they came back quickly with really great design incorporating what I wanted, the design is nice and practical at the same time, different from what the other IDs were proposing as well. On top of that, the price is very reasonable compared across the different companies. They always give regular updates even when I wasn't able to go down to the site and check in, checking in with me whenever necessary over phone calls and text messages, I don't find myself worrying over the progress of reno thanks to their regular updates. They really took care of everything and made sure everything went as planned, as much as possible. Really pleased with the outcome of the reno. Thank you for being so reliable and reasonably priced!

Homerenoguru selected five ID firms, Wayne from interior artists contacted me and requested for some video of my house. He managed to get what I wanted for my house and responded quickly with a 2.5D drawing. I like the clean look presented. I’m happy with the whole process. Most of the defects were handled promptly. Sharing my personal thoughts on my experience with my ID. He has always been candid in his recommendations to work towards our budget. Although at times, we opted for something different and it may cost a little more, he has always shared his opinion based on his experience with other customers - good and bad. I'm glad I did not make a hasty decision after careful thinking. Appreciated his resourcefulness in getting his other contractors to commit on time to complete the renovation. And he has been following up on minor adjustments that I have highlighted post-renovation. Skyler - Young man, bountiful of energy and patience in dealing with demands from his customers like myself. I've worked with them on my house renovation to overhaul my Resale unit purchase. Since I have a big household with many stakeholders. I judge ID not by how well they did but by how well they took feedback on the items. They were very good in recommending practical changes and there were so many things that just made sense when we finally moved in. I have and would recommend to give them a consideration.
