I would like to thank my ID Jason Chan from Interior Diary is a person with good personalities and professionalism. He is always ahead of giving advice and options during the renovation. Now our house is beautifully renovated and we love it very much. I will strongly recommend Jason Chan and Interior Diary to others... Thank you once again.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Great overall services, with prompt delivery and follow ups. Our ID Gary and Saathwin is very responsive despite renovations works over the festive period. We had expected some minor hiccups like all things, but all was resolved with ease. All and all would recommend for homeowners who wish to have a peace of mind, they are a very independent team which require no supervisor and will provide regular updates.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

To find an ID who you are comfortable with in order to have trust in their work. There is no point having an ID if you do not trust him and will be checking on the works yourself frequently. Checking once or twice in the course of renovation is fine

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Dorna have been very patience with all our changes, do's and don't. She delivered what we wanted and did a very good job. Simply said, she was wonderful throughout the whole renovation period. Gave out her number to a few friends that are getting new homes soon.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Do check with lots of ID's before choosing the right person and company. Don't just think of your budget. Sometimes if you scrimp and save too much, you will regret in the future, as you are the ones staying there.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Very pleased with the overall service we received from Interior Diary, especially from Dorna Tiang. They were able to put our ideas onto paper & were patient as well as flexible when changes were requested. Whenever we felt unsure, they helped to reassure and recommend what they thought was best. They were also responsible in ensuring to rectify any bumps that arose during the renovation. Our house now looks like a home thanks to them! :)

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

It is important to engage an ID that you can easily communicate with, and who you can trust. Having one that could present a 3D modelling of the home early on during the project was useful, as it allowed us to better visualise what our home would eventually look like, and also to amend any designs that did not look as good as we originally thought it would be.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I personally very satisfied with Amanda (Interior Diary) ideas of design and innovation to help me fully utilize the small spaces and create more storage and livable environment to me. I was amazed with the actual production which gave me a cozy and comfortable environment. I like Amanda that she is receptive to my ideas and transform it into a more practical ideas with her thoughtful ideas. She helped me a lot in the renovation work which I'm not familiar with and attempted to my endless calls and questions to address. Overall, the team did a fantastic job!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would recommend the homeowners do a bit more on their research on the ideas and receptive to new and creative ideas. I also encourage homeowners don't be afraid to ask more questions to clear your doubt which we are not familiar/ specialize in with. Last but not least, dream and create a home that you like it to be.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, definitely. Interior Diary team is cohesive which shares and chip in with ideas. They are patient and have good grasp of sub-contractors including the carpentry, lighting, plumbing etc. teams. She was very responsible in liaising with them in our absence since we are both working. She absolutely aced the project management aspect of Interior Diary, by reminding us to do our different shopping and involvement with the individual contractors. She might seem pushy with the timeline and persistent with meeting the deadlines. However,

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Never be afraid to ask or express your opinion. Ask them for assurance. Compare apple-to-apple and beware of hidden costs. Going direct to contractors might have their perks, but so do IDs. My initial thoughts were fear of over-zealous and enthusiastic IDs who would be very pushy with their sales but if you dig deeper, they are worth the additional money as good IDs will see the project to the fruition, reminding you what to purchase and if it fits whilst contractors might not have expertise in those areas. The advantage of contractors are really mere savings on your pocket.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Mr Steven Loh of Interior Diary is a person of great professionalism, work ethics, approachable and friendly. During our new house renovation, he gave us a lot of professional advises which many of other IDs didn't. He also got great and interesting ideas. He is very responsive too and he coordinates everything by himself unlike others which calls another person to coordinate for you which highly likely will end up having conflicts as message is not pass to each other correctly. We absolutely love our house renovated by interior diary, Mr Steven Loh. Thank you once again...cheers...

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Have an idea of what you want your future home to be and also work out a realistic budget accordingly. Always make sure designer understand your needs before he proceed to give you quotation as this will save a lot of time.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

As this is our first house renovation, we are very skeptical when choosing a reliable ID as there are many bad experiences story around -- but we are lucky to have Gary Ng. Throughout the renovation process, Gary Ng delivered his professional ideas with a non-pushy attitude. When the idea/concept doesn't suit us, he respects us as a house owner. Gary Ng also helped us in cost savings as we have tight budget to follow. The most satisfying was when Gary Ng keeps his promises on the completion date without any delay/excuses, without him, we wouldn't have moved in in the shortest time. Overall, we are highly satisfied with Gary Ng's service and would definitely recommend to our friends.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Start liasing with your ID early as the renovation discussion is time consuming. Do your own survey and comparison as you can chip in your ideas during the renovation process. Go for quality workmanship as we do not want to waste the high cost when things go wrong. Remember to conduct a routined check during the progress so that the contractor would be able to rectify the error. Last but not least, engage a responsible and responsive designer.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Gary is very responsive and a responsible designer. He will clarify and ensure he understood our intentions. He also was able to complete the renovation within the time we agreed upon. He gave a lot of attention to getting the work done for us.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

All homeowners needs to consider the tiles they select as we ended up with some tiles that were wrapped before it was laid and this caused us some problems with the flooring. Gary was very helpful and resolved the problem by replacing those tiles.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Steven, my designer is top notch with his personalized services, not a single call or message missed or not answered. Always accommodating and offering opinions and ideas. 100% trust in him.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Choose what you like, get lots of reference ideas from magazines or design websites and form your own dream home. Getting the right designer for space planning and can translate your vision into reality is important. Steven tick all the boxes with good attitude and passion.
