Jason Chan is very experienced n knowledgeable . We did renovations for two toilets and he gave us very good advices. Most importantly he helped us managed our renovation works and meet tight timelines. We are very impressed with him, MJS teams and very satisfied with their workmanship. We are so glad that we engage MJS Interior and Jason for our renovation. The whole renovation progress smoothly and we are grateful for the wonderful work. We believe in practicality, thus we focus on easy cleaning and baby friendly. Jason is very experienced and trustworthy. As we are not in town during the Reno process, he often updates us the progress through what's app. He went the extra mile in helping us select and order the accessories for the house.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

For future homeowner, do plan your needs and wants before engaging an ID. Have a budget in mind and consider the design theme after discussing with your family members. The ID who understands your need and works around them would be the most suitable one.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Company was very responsible and ID was very meticulous. Knowing that I have a young toddler at home, he tried his best to make the edges of the cabinets rounded.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Plan ahead and meet a few designers. Do not rush into confirming. Do not sign with the ID if you do not feel comfortable. Never transfer money direct to the ID, always make payment direct to the company with invoice.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Andrew is a very responsible and perfectionist ID. He has very high expectation and demand from his workers. His workers are very dedicated on their work and delivered their promises/services to us on time. They are always punctual. I can see that the workers have great bonding and chemistry among themselves.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

You definitely can rest assured and entrust your home reno to MJS. Their workmanship is great, great quality material compared to other contractors. ( I have done my first reno in Aug 2015 engaging other ID firm.) The workers are friendly and accommodating. The chief carpenter is a perfectionist as well and he would expect all the works to be perfect. After the work has done, they will helped to clean up the place with a smile. My hubby and I have enjoyed during the reno period and satisfied with the end result.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Andrew is always very cheerful and committed to his work. I have never seen him frown :). He always responds to messages and generally provided good information on work schedules. He has told me he will provide after sales service and I hope that he will be accessible.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

MJS stuck to the schedule and all jobs were completed on time. The quality of work was good, but a small limitation was that there was not much exchange of design ideas, so if you are choosing them then do get your ideas ready . They will listen to you and do exactly as you recommend. When we didnt like something and wanted it removed they obliged and got the work done as we wanted it. So that was good and overall we are happy with the quality of the work.

Yes I will recommend MJS Interior. Andrew is very responsible and responsive throughout the whole renovation process to the point that I did not have to do anything much at all as he settles everything swiftly for me. He is also very fast and reliable and I have received many praises from guests that it is a very nice house.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Communication is very important, compare a few IDs and find a reliable designer whom you can communicate well with so they know what you want.

MJS is the best to choose for home renovation cause they are the best and easy to deal with...after job service response very fast.workmanship very satisfied with their job.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Andrew was quick in response when we have certain queries. There were instances where some down lights are not working, and our power circuit keeps tripping, Andrew immediately arranged his electrician to come and fix it for us. Andrew was very attentive to details too, making sure all the ugly pipes were concealed and beautified. Quality and workmanship of carpentry were also well done. Andrew put in effort to ensure we are a satisfied customer.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Having a responsive and responsible interior designer can save you lots of time. We do drop by to peek thrice per week to check on the progress, and if there are any area which doesn't suit you, it is best to bring this up to the interior designer to sort it out.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes, Andrew is very pro and experience designer. He given us a lot of advice during our discussion. He truly understand our needs. I fully trusted him and let him do all the coordination and design. Our house is fully designed by Andrew and we like it so much.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

We have a tight schedule and he managed to complete within our time frame which is 4 weeks. Friendly and reliable designer with lots of ideas and design.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

My husband & I actually visited more than 10 designers before deciding on MJS. Reason being, we felt we like their showroom cabinets was too notch & the designer, Ezen seemed very sincere. After the reno was done, the design was so close to the proposed design given to us on paper. Ezen remained open to us to call for any defects but to date, it was not needed. My husband & I are very pleased with the whole experience.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Take your time to source for a designer who you feel comfortable with & as you source for a designer, you will gather more ideas for the design of your choice. Lesson learnt... Buy your furniture after reno is done. My dining table was slightly too big.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

The kitchen design and work was very good and we love our kitchen. MJS was very fast - they completed the job on time during a holiday period and there were no hidden costs.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Agree on every detail beforehand - MJS tend to assume things too often - fitting us into a mould of what other clients may have wanted. Communication was not great - language barrier led us to communicate a lot by msg and photos.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

We chose MJS Interior because we have personally seen some of their projects, and seen a lot of positive feedback and wonderful pictures on Facebook. And we partically like Andrew as I could reach him literally any time of the day, even right up until probably 1 or 2am. It was a very swift and efficient project, because it took only about four to five weeks to complete this whole unit. I was very impressed with the timeline given. In the end, I’m very satisfied with all the suggestions that Andrew has given. He proposed the feature wall, which is grey and white and matches well with the dining area. Basically I’m very happy. Every aspect of the design matches my modern minimalist vision. So without hesitation, i would recommend MJS Interior and Andrew. I've already recommended them to my neighbours in this area!

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

You should ALWAYS compare different quotes – that’s the minimum that we can do. Ask these interior designers when you are unclear. Do not make any decision until you are clear of what is quoted to you. But most importantly, you need to like your ID, because for the next two months you’re practically going to see him almost every day.

Yes, I will recommend. The designer is knowledgeable about interior products and construction. He was very prompt to touch up minor defects in the products.

It is important to go for reputable and proven designer. My renovation is right on schedule and workmanship is up to standard overall a good experience to have work with Andrew.

在选择装修商为你的房子装修时.请屋主有几方面的问题需要注意: 一.请找正规的装修商.如果可以.请上网查询装修商的情况. 切忌找单枪匹马.一个公司那么一两个人. 问题发生时他们就失踪了.二:请不要贪图价格的便宜. 要记得一分钱一分货.时间会对质量作出检验的

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Yes I would strongly recommend Andrew Tan as your Interior Designer. Timely update on process. Especially our tight schedule we can put our house in his hand and update us as and when. Just that price bit towards high side but quality/outcome is there.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

Good Quality workmanship. Ideas, planning especially needs of complicated power point planning. Andrew is knowledgeable with products and materials selection. Technically he is well verse and responsible. 100% good choice.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

I will recommend this interior designer to my friends or relatives, they are responsible and trustworthy. The amount is slightly out of my budget but it is worth it and my designer did come over to my place every now and then to check the progress of the work.

My advise to future homeowner are to get a good interior designer and willing to hear your ideas. Ensure there is a progressive update on the job done by the interior designer.

Would you recommend this Interior Designer and why?

Jeffery is patient and meticulous. He listens to my requests attentively and offers good and sound advice. He would do his best to source for the best-matched designs and materials to cater to my needs. He is also very responsive whenever I requested for his prompt attention on further modifications and other additional requests. I am also very satisfied with the professionalism and skills of his sub-contractors who are also friendly and approachable. I am particularly impressed with the workmanship of his carpenters who have delivered high quality TV consoles and cabinets despite the challenges posed by the designs requested.

What advice would you give to future homeowners?

I would recommend that you talk to a few designers as referred by your close contacts. Engage the designer whom you feel most confident and comfortable with in meeting your expectations. He should be patient and non-judgemental, willing to go the extra mile to accomodate your needs and having the resourcefulness to find the most suitable materials for you. Do your best to avail yourself to oversee the start of each phase of work so that you can communicate clearly to the workers what you really want. This would cut down on unnecessary repairs and disappointments due to unexpected work done.
