Engaged William and had a good experience with him. He would make suggestions based on his experience but always listen to your ideas and preferences. He would then try to build on top of your ideas and also suggest practical designs. While there were some minor hiccups here and there, he was quick to respond and get them fixed asap. Overall a very good experience and would highly recommend him

To all who all thinking of a renovation. I wish to commend our ID William for his tireless effort to design, plan the renovation, coordinate with his team of subcons from his hackers, tile layers, carpenter, electrician, plumber, Aircon and fan installers. The entire renovation was completed in a record time of 2.5 months. William is meticulous to the smallest details. His design concept is modern, and he takes careful attention to our habits at home to design the built in furniture and kitchen layout to meet our daily needs. William connection to the various trades from tiles to WC and shower accessories have helped us to select right accessories at an affordable price. MYD gives a 24 months warranty against workmanship defects which is unheard of in home renovations. I highly recommend William for your renovations. We bought a resale 3 bedrooms flat 105sqm It was our first house and our very first reno. We don't know what to look out for, how to arrange our space, what can we do/ get with our budget. Met a couple of IDs through Qanvast before meeting William - MYDpleasant Home and pretty much felt super overwhelmed and simply lost haha...Until we met William. We felt a sense of relived from the very first meeting with him and the experience was pleasant through out the process William is professional, attentive, reliable and his depth of experience in this field is so valuable. He is a great listener and never hold back on his advices on design as well as technical from the first meeting. We got ton of ideas from him along with pros and cons on each to consider and decide what's best for us. The service he provides is incomparable: fast, efficient, full of nice surprises Communication is very important to us and William always does his best to address all my questions, concerns asap not only presales but during the reno process and post reno as well We had a few priorities to fulfill, first budget, second design, third project management. William understands it We want lot of things for our house and it blew the budget. He walked us through quotation in details and validate between what we need vs what we want. What we must & should do as priorities and what can wait/ buy off the shelves. We love how his quotation breakdown to very detailed level on what you are getting, so no funny "surprises" after haha Communication and collaboration was smooth which set put us at ease. William has a very good relationship with his contactors and provide us regular updates on progress. Very thankful that he is very detail oriented coz we are occupied with our work and can only do site visit once every one to two weeks. Everything was delivered on within a timely manner for completion and handover. Communication was clear and everything was recorded in a structured way. The standard of the works that their subcontractors delivered are all exemplary and as promised during the planning phase. Their payment claim was also fair and clear, in a way that protects all parties involved. Would definitely recommend MYD and especially William to friends and family Thanks William. We were referred by a friend to someone working here but we met Jesment instead who was really professional and helpful through the process. During the initial planning stages he was clear and managed our expectations well. Once the main planning was done, the project was handed to his team and Gao Gao assisted us on the execution and fine adjustments of the project. (Sadly Gao Gao has since left the firm). The execution had it's own bumps but nothing major and issues were quickly addressed. Cost was also made clear most of the way as each cost was itemised for clarity to ensure no hidden charges. Overall, the experience was a positive one and I am pleased with the handling of the project and would recommend Jesment and team for any renovation needs my friends have.

We recently used MYD to renovate our house - It was great working with Jon and Anson at MYD. They make a great team to work with - Jon comes in with very artistic ideas and Anson being very responsive on the ground. Best bit is that they don’t push you in any way to take up their suggestion but they would rather give you different options and let you choose as per your budget, aesthetics and needs.

Jonathan is a very detailed oriented person. He always listen to the client on what is their requirement and then provide suggestions and solutions. I believe this really is strength as he would put the concept that I had for my house into his drawing for us to view. After some back and forth on the colour selection. He gets to work and things is settled smoothly and efficiently, on schedule as promised. He even make an effort to rectify a tiny issue we have on one of the door nob, which is a mistake at my end for us without fees. Really recommend him and do hear his pitch out

After explaining our rough idea of our house theme to our Designer, Jonathan, he was very proactive in suggesting and proposing solution to fulfill our requirements it. On some events where he was unable to meet so, he was also very accommodating and would counter-propose if any of our general ideas were not so ideal for long-term reliability and maintenance. All issues (if any) were cleared clearly after informing him. Provide timely updates on the house progress. Overall, a steadfast person to work with.

Recommended by our friend, we asked William for a proposal to renovate our kitchen. He presented us an excellent proposal addressing our needs of space & functional kitchen. However it was a little over our budget appetite. William understood and revised the proposal intelligently without compromising our basic needs. Our initial plan was to seek and compare proposals from a few IDs. But within a single meeting, we were convinced that William was our right choice when he demonstrated professionalism, understanding, confidence, flexibility, accommodating and providing right solutions to our needs but not imposing. We did not waste any further effort and signed the proposal in the first meeting itself. During construction, William co-ordinated the work timely under close supervision. Along the way, he was flexible to accommodate our revised requirements without any fuss. He would also propose options, but leave the decision to us. He was always accessible throughout the project, whether day or night. The reno work was completed ahead of schedule and to our utmost satisfaction. Me and my husband is a first time home owner, really clueless on what/how in terms of renovation thingy. We found MYD through Canvas, and Anson reached out to my husband to meet up. From the first meeting I can feel Anson is a thoroughly, detail person, and when we frankly said to him that we have a limited budget, he’s helping by giving some suggestion where to cut the cost (something I feel rare to find such ID I was pregnant (with a toddler somemore) and keep praying no drama on the renovation as I already feel exhausted with my condition, and thank God our renovation journey was considered smooth, big thanks to Anson! I engaged William from MYD Pleasant Home Design after speaking to about four other IDs. From first impression to completion, he has demonstrated professionalism and his can-do attitude has been nothing but commendable. My brief to him was clear from the get-go, that I needed a lot of storage for my little abode as I have a lot of things (clothes, shoes, bags, etc). I too work from home so I need a conducive space that I can use as my home office, plus, I have two guinea pigs who are to share that home office space with me. Also, I needed the space to be able to open up if I want my living room to feel more spacious. William stuck with the brief and came up with creative storage ideas, and how I could convert the common room into my home office + guinea pigs' bedroom. I don't have a specific theme for my place so it's more of like moving along to see what works/what doesn't. We decided to incorporate a semi-retro-looking tile on the floor as a 'feature' juxtaposing the dark concrete feature wall adjacent only after hacking has completed! Throughout the journey, William was patient and has been more than accommodating. His communication including status updates has always been prompt and effective. Unlike the numerous reno horror stories I've been reading on social media, William was the opposite. He paid attention to small details such as making sure that the grout colour in my master bathroom matches my square grid tiles. And that he did also check through personally and ensured that my carpentry was all properly worked on and aligned (no 1-2 cm difference resulting in misaligned closure or ugly lamination work for example). Lastly, given the extent of this project, I'm Pleasantly surprised that this was completed in just nine weeks!

Engaged Avril and Anson for our renovation and to be honest its a very pleasant renovation journey. Avril is the first ID we met, the first meeting was really positive, from understanding our needs and wants, some really good recommendation from her vast experience in the field. In fact she told us to go ahead to compare with other ID firm to "look, see". The second meeting was the deciding factor to choose her as our ID. I am sure not alot of ID will actually go through the quotation with a 3D layout to actually let us visualise what we are paying for. Prepared 2sets of quotation, one within our budget and one a little out of budget as per discussed during our first meeting. at the same time let us visualise the difference. We did went to another firm to try to compare but the service rendered was ok but the ID was trying to close us after first meeting which makes us very uncomfortable. After that we decided to just stick to someone we are comfortable with. A renovation journey is really tiring and hectic if you don't find the right ID. But the process with MYD was a pleasant one. From 3D drawing, tiles selection, laminate selection and paint selection, all are smooth like butter. Slowly let us make our selection and give us good recommendation to fit the theme of our house. During the renovation itself, everything is smooth from start to end, handled by Anson. Issues were highlighted promptly and resolved quickly. Consist of a really good team to handle your renovation needs. Able to handover the project on time with minimal touch up for us to move in quickly and good aftersales service to address some eyesores that you will only see after you moved in. Highly recommend both of them!

We linked up with our ID from MYD Pleasant Home Design, Jonathan Sim, via Qanvast, and our experience has been nothing short of fantastic and problem free. Jon was patient, attentive, understanding and thoughtful throughout the project. From the start till its completion, he understood our constraints, both in time and finances, and managed the project timeline in such a pain-free manner for us. He was able to work within our budget, and managed our expectations very well. He was responsive and proactive throughout the process, and never made it feel like we were bothering him. He made the working relationship very enjoyable and personalised, and allayed our initial reservations regarding online ID horror stories. We are very lucky to have had met Jon for our first home. Design We were going for a dark wood / grey theme and he gave us really good recommendations in furniture shopping, selection of tiles, light installation and placements, and even accommodated our requests for walk-in wardrobes, last minute addition of vinyl flooring and power point locations. Workmanship The dimensions were inch perfect, the painting works were crisp, and after living for about two weeks in my home, I still have yet to find any major defects in the carpentry or electrical works. No complaints here as well, they were thorough and very efficient. Service Probably the best part of the whole firm, they (Jon) gave us confidence and assurance to leave everything to him, and he delivered. He even personalised our home according to our "measurements" (I'm a 1.83m guy so everything needs to be heightened/taller). It's the little things. Value for Money They may not be the cheapest nor recommend the least expensive item, but I hedge my bets that Jon knew and believed in what he was offering me and I trusted his judgment. So if you want everything cheapest, then Taobao would probably be better. But you won't be able to buy his experience and personalisation skills on Taobao. We engaged MYD for our 2nd renovation for our resale 5 room. Aside from MYD, we shortlisted 2 other IDs as well. However, MYD became our choice for a few reasons: #1 William and Katherine impressed us by their creative but practical suggestions. #2 They don't hard sell their suggestions and their service. #3 They offer to draw up artist impressions of what we wanted to do without any obligation to engage them. Due to this, it became the reason why we engaged them as we are able to visualise how our renovation will look like. This service was what we had requested but were told from the other IDs that they will only provide us the visuals after confirming our service with them. During the renovation, they were very prompt in their reply and updates. There were hiccups here and there but they were able to resolve them promptly. They were true to their artist impressions and their workmanship were to our expectations. Their after service is good, when issues arise they solve them promptly. Highly recommends MYD to anyone who needs their service.

I engaged Anson Tan from MYD as my interior designer for my condo unit. After considering six other IDs, I chose Anson because our initial communication was delightful and seamless. We discussed the overall decoration style and details, and I found no issues in our communication. I was also impressed by the decoration style showcased on his WhatsApp page, indicating his strong design and implementation skills. Throughout the construction process, Anson consistently displayed a high level of professionalism. He was always prompt in responding to my questions and even willing to help implement some of the ideas I found on 'Xiao Hongshu,' which are not that common in Singapore. This willingness to go the extra mile reassured me of his commitment to my project. He went above and beyond by providing suggestions on soft decoration, even though it wasn't strictly his responsibility. His strong organization and planning skills were evident as he efficiently managed different groups of people, ensuring tasks were completed on time and problems were resolved promptly.
