Rachel from New ID is very helpful and provides solutions to last minute issues. What I liked was that the solutions were not always the most costly.

Do a run through of the house with the ID before deciding on the works. Budget an additional 50% to 80% if possible so that you can achieve the quality you want for your home. Enjoyed working with Rachel and am appreciative of the time and effort put in by the team.

Yes, I recommend this ID because overall it’s been a pleasant experience. And they really made it a point to work within my budget. For sure renovation work/workmanship can’t be perfect. Therefore after sale services are all the more important, especially follow ups and touch ups etc. They really make it a point to do what’s promised.

Communication is of utmost importance. Do not hesitate to voice of if in doubt. Be it at the design conceptualization stage or during the renovation work. Always ask the ID early for clarification if unsure of stuffs or process. It will saves everyone’s time and effort if rectify earlier. Like I mentioned earlier it’s been a pleasant experience for me and my wife overall. It’s also been a cost vs expectation struggles at times but thanks to my ID Shermain and Lucas who facilitated all the works, scheduling and giving advice on what’s feasible in addition to cost effectiveness. I’m a hands on persons so for most interior design and process I am able to visualize the concepts. It’s harder for my wife to put the whole picture together so it’s double the efforts for my ID. Luckily and thankfully for their patience throughout, my wife were delighted with the services rendered. As the saying goes “Happy Wife Happy Life”, Lol.

Just renovated our new house with New ID and very satisfied with the service! Jacob has been so patient with us even with our mountain of requests. He is always contactable and responsible - making sure that everything in the house is 100/100. Even AFTER handover, he still makes sure to help when we need (e.g. helping to install controllers, oiling the door knob etc) even though that's probably out of his job scope. I heard so many horror stories of contractors ripping off house owners' money and we were definitely fearful being 1st time homeowners but safe to say, the experience with Jacob/New ID has been amazing! Will definitely recommend Jacob to anyone looking to renovate their homes!

Be careful before you sign , read the terms and conditions, make sure its a registered company, check their previous review.. make sure they are reacheable , after sales services....etc..

We are a repeat customer and have several renovation work experiences with Mr Eric and his company. New Interior Design is a professional, and more importantly, trustworthy company. Both Eric and Jacob were always professional, patient and courteous, and would immediately turn to them if we were to have any changes/additional renovation needs. We appreciate Eric and his team especially Jacob who handled our renovation job recently. He took time to update and explain the progress, answer our questions and responding to our concerns. He was always at the jobsite to meet with people to set up, do and ensure completion timely. The responsiveness and trustworthy company would be priority beside your budgeted costs. It will eliminate your worries on the tight timeframe, quality workmanship etc. Furthermore, I think is good to go through the renovation details and obtain your 3D drawing before project start. This is to allow the renovation works go smoothly and avoid any surprise after work done. No job is without problems, but those problems allow you to see whether you are dealing with a reputable contractor.

Rudy is responsible and communicates regularly with me through the project. Whenever there is any issue she is quick to reify without any major hiccups. She takes follow up action promptly and able to design the house just as I wanted it to be. She is also able to deliver the project on time without major delays.

For future homeowners, my advice is plan your renovation well. Communicate clearly what the design you have in mind and check with the designer to ensure it is practical and must be functional. Sometimes our idea is not feasible and hard to maintain after the renovation. Lastly, also to make sure you planned your budget and spend within that budget.

The bathroom designs really opened up the space and color choice was excellent. Practical and functional. Kids friendly and quality of work was very decent.

Eric is very rsponsible. Post renovation service is excellent and it is very rare to find someone who honours his word like Eric does. Even afte 2 years pst renovation, if there is an issue, Eric would fix it. During renovation, if the workers do an unsatisfactory job and I raise issue wirh Eric, he would rectify it and not force me to accept what I do not like. I have recommended Eric to my friends and everyone has been very satisfied with Eric himself.

What I like the most about the design of my home is the featured wall / TV console, where the cables are hidden. It is my cozy corner where I can wind down and relax, watching TV programme and sat there at the end of the day. Another design is the kitchen which suited my lifestyle where I can cook and hosting friends. The kitchen is compact and with lots of cupboards for keeping things neat and tidy.

New Interior - Lucas is very helpful and always ready to assist in our request. He are very responsive and has the initiative to preamp us ahead of any renovation concerns. The project was well managed and able to keep to the timeline for the handover and best of all he is able to keep the renovation according to my budget.

I like most on their suggestions of color combinations and professionalism on design. They are extra helpful when it comes to ensuring the theme that I'm looking for.
